Artwork Description: A central piece within the Ethereal Series. The composition explores optical phenomena and states of suspension through a strict cognitive formula. The concentric geometric structure of the woven web provides a rigid physical anchor. Conversely, the feathers and the surrounding atmospheric space are rendered through thin, translucent layers (glazing), allowing the canvas texture to remain visible and creating an illusion of absolute weightlessness. This ethereal softness is intentionally disrupted by tactile, raised fragments of golden impasto. This calculated interplay between physical texture and optical illusion shifts the canvas from a literal object study to a pure meditative state, requiring the viewer to project their own internal equilibrium to complete the visual equation.
